
Transvaginal Scans
Transvaginal ultrasonography is the internal imaging of the female reproductive organs. It is unique as it helps to closely visualize the organs that would otherwise be difficult to see on transabdominal ultrasound. The endocavitary probe is placed inside the vagina to achieve high resolution images of the pelvic organs.
